About Vanasanchari
Nature is not something we simply learn about. It is something we learn to notice, understand and care for.
Vanasanchari was born from a simple belief: children need meaningful opportunities to experience the living world around them.
We create experiences that encourage children to slow down, observe closely, ask questions and build a lifelong relationship with nature.
"If children don't grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it. And if they don't understand it, they won't protect it. And if they don't protect it, who will?"
— Sir David Attenborough
In our modern, fast-paced lives, time in nature is rarely on our schedules.
At Vanasanchari, we bridge that gap — helping children step outside and become deeply conscious of the living world around them.
We believe not every classroom needs four walls.
We are not here to simply share facts or lecture from textbooks.
We guide children to observe, connect, and appreciate — letting curiosity lead the way and the forest become the teacher.
We want children to feel the environment, not just read about it.
In the fields of wildlife and conservation, it can be difficult for passionate individuals to make a sustainable living.
Vanasanchari creates opportunities for dedicated field experts and connects them with children — providing a livelihood for those who love the wild and inspiring the responsible minds of tomorrow.
Founder • Wildlife Filmmaker • Naturalist • Nature Educator
Pavan's journey with nature began with a deep passion for wildlife and has grown through more than 10 years of exploration, learning and field experience.
Over the years, he has worked across different roles in the wildlife and natural history space — as a field photographer, wildlife filmmaker, naturalist and nature guide.
His filmmaking journey has included work with BBC Earth and Disney+ Nature, including projects such as Tigers on the Rise and Crowded Continent.
With an MSc in Environmental Science, his work brings together field experience, visual storytelling, environmental understanding and nature education.
Today, through Vanasanchari, Pavan focuses on something particularly close to his heart:
Guiding children to notice the natural world, learn from it and develop a relationship with it.
Vanasanchari Product Manager
Sushma is an Agricultural Engineer, an Environmental Sciences student, a Permaculture Designer, an author (Sankranthi) and a crochet artist, and the founder of Noolou — her work sits at the meeting point of scientific knowledge and traditional wisdom.
As a Permaculture Designer, she advocates for resilient ecosystems, sustainable agriculture and nature-based solutions, an approach her academic background in Environmental Sciences reinforces with a focus on conservation, biodiversity and responsible resource management.
She is also the author of Sankranthi, a work rooted in culture, tradition and the stories that connect people to their roots, and a skilled crochet artist whose handcrafted designs draw on nature and heritage.
Through Vanasanchari, she shares that same knowledge and creative practice — inspiring sustainable living and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
Operations Manager
Kavita spent 18 years as a Sales & Service Coordinator in the corporate world before leaving, in 2016, to pursue chemical-free farming and a different way of living.
She completed her Permaculture Design Course that same year at Aranya Permaculture Farms, Kherabadi, and volunteered at Polam Farms in Sangareddy and Janani Farms in Hyderabad to put it into practice.
She now works as a guide at Cremon Montessori Life School, Hyderabad, and brings that same grounded, hands-in-the-soil approach to Vanasanchari.
Together, we walk the path of observation, learning and sharing, for a future where children and nature grow together.
