Helping children build a meaningful connection with nature.
Vanasanchari creates opportunities for children to observe the natural world, ask questions, learn from field experts, and develop a lasting sense of care and responsibility for nature.
Observation before information.
We believe meaningful nature education begins when a child slows down and notices what is happening around them. A bird call, a chewed leaf, a line of ants, or a changing patch of soil can lead to questions, investigation, and understanding.
Our role is not simply to deliver facts. We create the conditions for children to observe carefully, think independently, and learn from the living world.
Our mission
To help children and communities observe, understand, appreciate, and care for the natural world through experiential learning, field experiences, storytelling, and collaboration with people who work closely with nature.
Our learning pathway
From seeing to noticing
Children learn to pay attention to details that are easy to overlook.
From noticing to investigating
Questions lead to identification, comparison, research, and evidence-based understanding.
From understanding to appreciating
Knowledge gives context to what children experience and helps them recognize the relationships within nature.
From appreciation to responsibility
A deeper connection can encourage thoughtful choices and a willingness to care for the places and species around us.
